I’ve seen this tag around for awhile it looked fun. I’ve noticed the majority of UK youtubers tend to be from the south e.g. london etc whereas I’m a northerner so I thought it would be fun to try this out. Plus there’s a fair few bloopers as I tend to ramble so enjoy! & subscribe to my youtube channel here!

My Top 10 Summer Lipsticks (Post & Video)

So I guess It’s officially summer in England although the weather is bipolar lately as one minute it’s hot the next its raining the next it’s bright & sunny but for those rare moments off sun I’ve picked my tope 10 favourite lipsticks to brighten up your day….

As you may realise from this video/post all these lipsticks ae highstreet/drugstore brands you may be shocked to know that I do not own ANY mac lipsticks which is a rare feat these days but I really don’t have £14 to spend on one lipstick my lipsticks range from 99p to the most expensive £5. Maybe one day I’ll buy a mac lipstick but untill then cheap is cheerfull…..

I blogged & youtubed this post which is what I intend to do for the majority of my posts from now on.

Rimmel – Moisture Renew – Spotleight Beige 620
Rimmel

This lipstick is really creamy & moisturizing. It also has a lovely shiny gloss look to it so you won’t need to add lip-gloss. It has spf 18 which is great It has a slight baby oil/powder smell to it but nothing overpowering & I quite like it. It has a slight orangey pink tinge to it making it different from other nude/natural colours & is great for all skin tones.

Rimmel – Moisture Renew – Sunset – 180
IMG_1475

Another lovely brown/beige toned lipstick but with a lovely golden shimmer to it this lipstick is also quite moisturising I wont dry out your lips. Also with SPF 18.

Rimmel – Birthday Suit 250
IMG_1480

Another lovely rimmel lipstick in a perfect nude colour with a hit of golden shimmer.

Rimmel – Celeb 028
IMG_1484

My absolute FAVOURITE lipstick! This colour is my perfect pink not too bright but not too pale or dull I wear this almost ALL the time I find it creamy & quite moisturising I have never noticed it drying out my lips & the colour stays on great I would recommend this to everyone although if you have extremely pale skin this may look too much for a day time look but for warmer skin-tones it looks great.

Collection 2000 – Peachy Keen 11
IMG_1498

A lovely shimmey golden peach colour although I love this lipstick it is a little too pale for my skintone & would suit a paler skintone but I just wear a darker nude & use this to add a lovely peachy shimmer to it other than that I love this colour.

Miners Cosmetics – Starlet
IMG_1512

My favourite pink for nights out it’s not too in your face but it’s a gorgeous deep fuschia pink bright & sexy without looking slutty. I would reccomend this lipstick to anyone who loves pink & fuschias. This colour stays on great and leaves a lovely matte finish without being drying.

Miners Cosmetics – Coral

IMG_1508

Another gorgeous miners matte shade I adore matte lipsticks but I don’t have many of them. Although this is named coral its definatly more of an orange but not too bright to look trashy this is one of my newest colours but is great for summer nights out.

Revlon Lip butters – Tutti Frutti
IMG_1504

Another orange shade but this time more of a gloss type than an actual lipstick. The lip butters have been raved about since being released & I love this orange shade. It gives a light tint but is buildable great for summer days this is lovely & moisturising.

Rimmel – Kiss Me 140
IMG_1488

A lovely bright orangey/reddy/pinky colour this is great for summer nights it has a yummy fruity smell. It leaves a matte finish the only downfall is it can be slightly drying after awhile so if you want to keep the matt finish you have to reapply to keep your lips moisturised, if you aren’t bothered you can always add lipbalm or gloss to add shine & moisturise.

Collection 2000 – Mango Tango 14
IMG_1494

A great orangey/pink this actually smells like mangos! This colour leaves a lovely shines & feels very moisturising on the lips great for day or night if you like bright colours.

What’s your favourite summer lipstick? Do you own any of these lipsticks? What lipsticks would you reccomend? And would you like to see a lipstick collection video/post?

She Said Beauty Box Review (2) June

I’m back with a proper post this time although I’m really enjoying doing my videos so don’t forget to check them out here.

But I’m back with my second She Said Beauty review from the June box. I’ve actually had this box awhile but better late than never anyway lets get started….

Box Overview

The She Said Beauty Box retails at £9 a month plus £2.95 p+p. You can also pay for a 3month, 6month or 12month subscription. I chose to go with the monthly payments just incase I should ever want to unsubscribe.

IMG_1358

The outer packaging is bright pink and this is the little sticker they on the box. The top of the box just states my address which I’m not showing incase any of you want to stalk me lol

IMG_1218-1

The box itself is a pretty pale turquoise/blue colour with the She Said Beauty stamp on.

IMG_1360

The inside of the box is prettily wrapped in bright pink tissue paper with a hot pink ribbon & blue sticker.

IMG_1361

The first thing you’ll see when opening your box is the little overveiw card which gives details & prices about the items within the box incase you wish to purchase any afterwards.

IMG_1363

These are the items I received in my June box. In this box there were 3 full size products & 2 samples & 1 bonus sample.

Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton – Whipped Shea Body Butter Lemon Zest – Full Size – This is my favourite product as 1 it’s full size, 2 I love the packaging, 3 It smells and feels amazing I love fruity scents & this is light enough to use everyday but has just enough scent to make you smell nice without being overpowering. This retails at £10 for 65g. I don’t know if I would pay that for a cream but I do like it so I may do.

St Tropez

St Tropez – Perfect Legs Spray – Full size – I have only tried this once but I did like the light tan colour it gave to my legs I need to try this oout more to really see but as I don’t use self tan (being mixed race & all that) I can;t really compare it to other products out there but I have heard good things about St Tropes & this is a full size product retailing at £10 for 75ml. We’ll have to wait & see whether I’ll be tempted to repurchase.

lets go lashes

Lets Go Lashes – Temptress – Full size – As I said before I’m abit of a lash addict although I never wear them I have so many false lashes lately it’s getting a little ridiculous. I’m really going to have start trying them out but I do think these will be great for day or night they aren’t too intense or false looking. I don’t think I would repurchase just do to the fact I never really wear false lashes plus I’m sure I could find some just as nice for a little less as these are £8.95 a set.

elemis

Elemis Tranquil Bath Elixir – Sample size – I quite like this bubble bath the scent reminds me of a tranquil spa day & made me feel relaxed it has just enough bubbles without going OTT I wouldn’t repurchase this as I prefer showers to baths but it is a very nice grown up bubble bath. This retails at £19.99 for 300ml which is a pretty decent size. I got a 50ml sample which b=would probably be around £3.33 to buy.

Yardley

Yardley – Royal Diamond – Sample size – This is my most disappointing item I HATE  getting these samples in my boxes as these are the samples they give out for free shops. The scent itself doesnt redeem anything it just reminds me of an old lady perfume. The full size retails at £9.99 for 50ml which makes it even less worth adding when I could buy the full thing for less than a tenner. Overall though this is the only item I completely disliked.

For some reason I don’t seem to be able to find the picture of the BB cream but I can’t reveiw this as of yet as I haven’t got round to trying it out.

Final Thoughts

All in all I liked this months box & got some good items. The full price of it is £11.95 but the contents of this box worked out at around £32 so I definatly got my moneys worth crappy perfume samples or no crappy perfume samples. I’m looking forward to my July box arriving.
